Shaylah Grant brings experience across primary care, occupational health, surgery, behavioral health, rehabilitation, and long-term care. Her work has centered on caring for adults and older adults with both routine and more complex medical needs.

Her path into healthcare began as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she first developed the hands-on discipline, patient advocacy, and service mindset that continue to shape her practice.

Service, leadership, and training

Before advancing in nursing, Shaylah served in the United States Navy as a helicopter mechanic and supervisor. Working in high-pressure environments strengthened her focus on accountability, precision, leadership, and earning trust.

She later continued her healthcare training as a Registered Nurse and earned her Master of Science in Nursing, preparing for advanced practice as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.

Why Granted Care exists

Shaylah founded Granted Care to provide accessible, efficient, and personal care for working adults, employers, students, and community members in Worcester and nearby communities. The practice offers DOT physicals, occupational health services, physical exams, and same-day sick visits for adults and adolescents 14 and older.

Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with clear communication, practical follow-through, and the time to listen carefully to each patient's concerns and goals.
